Agricultural Science Teachers

As an Agricultural Science Teacher you will educate students on fundamental principles of farming, food production, and natural resource management. You will blend theoretical classroom instruction in areas like soil science and animal husbandry with practical, hands-on laboratory or school farm experiments.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans covering agronomy, livestock management, agricultural economics, and environmental sustainability. 
• Practical Training: Supervise school laboratories, gardens, or farms to provide students with hands-on experience in modern and sustainable farming practices.
• Student Assessment: Design tests, evaluate student progress, and prepare students for standardized external examinations e.g., WASSCE, IGCSE, or UTME.
• Leadership & Extracurriculars: Coach students in youth leadership programs like the FFA Future Farmers of America or coordinate agricultural clubs and field trips.
