Job Title: Analyst - New Market

The Analyst - New Market role is an exciting opportunity to drive revenue growth and innovation within MTN Nigeria. You will be a key contributor to our Business Development team, working closely with various internal and external stakeholders to identify, validate, and launch new business initiatives. Your research, analytical, and coordination skills will be instrumental in supporting our ICT and converged services offerings, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving market.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in business development, market research, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective collaboration with internal teams.
• Proactive and results-driven approach, with a passion for innovation and growth.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with ICT and converged services is an advantage.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the identification and development of new business opportunities in ICT and Converged services, contributing to revenue growth.
• Assist in tracking and reporting on new business initiatives, ensuring alignment with unit revenue targets.
• Conduct desk research and produce market intelligence reports on emerging enterprise opportunities.
• Validate and size new opportunities using data, industry benchmarks, and analytical frameworks.
• Attend industry events to gather insights on trends and market shifts.
• Support the preparation and coordination of Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new solutions.
• Maintain the new opportunity pipeline, tracking progress from idea stage through to commercial launch.
• Contribute to business case documentation for new solutions within the project pipeline.
• Support the preparation of presentations and briefing materials for internal review.
• Liaise with internal teams to support new business initiatives, enhancing customer experience.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal units and third-party partners for seamless project execution.
