Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a Artisan Aid Plumber to assist qualified plumbers and technical staff in the execution of plumbing maintenance, repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance activities. The role supports the effective operation of plumbing infrastructure by ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Tsebo standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plumbing Maintenance and Repairs Assist with planned preventative maintenance activities.
• Assist with reactive and emergency plumbing repairs.
• Support installation, replacement, and maintenance of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
• Assist with leak detection, pipe repairs, blockage clearing, and fixture replacements.
• Ensure allocated work orders are completed within agreed service levels.
• Achieve an average of four completed work orders per day where operationally feasible.
• Tool, Equipment and Material Control Prepare and organise tools, equipment, and materials required for assigned tasks.
• Maintain tools in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
• Report damaged or missing equipment.
• Assist with stock control and material usage reporting.
• Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance Comply with all Tsebo SHEQ policies and procedures.
• Wear and maintain required PPE.
• Identify and report safety hazards.
• Maintain safe work practices at all times.
• Support compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Administration and Reporting Complete maintenance checklists and documentation accurately.
• Provide material requirements to the Senior Technician.
• Update work order information as required.
• Report maintenance issues and potential risks promptly.
• Housekeeping and Asset Care Maintain clean and organised work areas.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Support good housekeeping practices in workshops and plant rooms.
• Protect client and company assets during maintenance activities.
• Customer Service and Teamwork Interact professionally with clients, students, staff, and stakeholders.
• Provide courteous service and maintain positive working relationships.
• Support team members in achieving operational objectives.
• Participate actively in team meetings and training initiatives.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Trade-related training will be advantageous
• Valid Drivers Licence

Experience

• Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in plumbing maintenance or a related technical environment
• Experience within facilities management, campus, commercial, or industrial environments will be advantageous
