Job Description:
Purpose of the job: To maintain the overall effectiveness of equipment and plant on site Responsibilities: Technical support/Trouble shooting On the job training System maintenance – attend to breakdowns and general plant maintenance. Competencies Knowledge Expert knowledge in engineering Basic welding, grinding and painting will be an added advantage Industry knowledge – Food safety and Health and safety Analytical skills Accuracy / Attention to detail Communication skills Decision making ability Problem solving ability Values and attitudes Innovation/Continuous Improvements Teamwork Accountability Punctual and reliable Sense of urgency/results orientation
Qualification Requirements:
Matric N2 or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements:
1 years’ experience in a production factory 2 years’ experience as an artisan assistant will be an added advantage
Skills and Competencies:
Factory environment – hot and noisy Working with and on heavy plant equipment (technical and mechanical) Required to work Saturdays, Sundays, Night Shift and Public Holidays as per shift roster
