Job Summary
The Automobile Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling vehicles, identifying prospective customers, building long-term client relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, excellent customer service, and a proven ability to drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the company's range of vehicles to individual and corporate customers.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicle options.
- Conduct vehicle presentations and accompany customers on test drives where applicable.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales.
- Follow up on customer enquiries and maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely vehicle delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, pricing, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in automobile sales, vehicle dealership, or a related sales role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, customer acquisition, and business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's Degree, HND, or OND in any relevant discipline.
