Minimum Requirements
- Matric/Gr12 Degree/Diploma in engineering or equivalent
- Data Capturing in a planning environment
- 2 years’ experience in an engineering maintenance or similar environment
- Assist with clerical related work within the Maintenance Planning Section and workorder feedback capturing
Duties and Responsibilities
- Capturing of data, work execution and maintain system data integrity
- Capture data into the CMMS (ON KEY) as supplied by permanent staff and contractors or service providers
- This includes: workorder feedback, 5 why feedback, failure feedback, condition monitoring feedback, utility data entry and data entry from external sources
- Capture documented tangible and intangible time booking (weekly), as well as overtime for legal compliance
- Create follow-up workorders for permanent resources, contractors or service providers as required
- Provide clerical and administrative support for the Engineering Department, which includes filing and retrieving of documentation from library or Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS)
- Linking of documents to assets and tasks
- Maintain the Engineering Information System
- Printing of maintenance cards for the engineering team
- Communication and Reporting - Provide input into interdepartmental INVOCOMs
- Achieve engineering Key Performance Indicators
- Report factors, incidents and accidents that pose a business risk
- Governance and Risk Management - Adhere to SHE, legal, QMS , statutory and regulatory structures and frameworks and promote a culture of compliance
- Contractor Management - Generate, through input of the Foreman and Planner, work requests in the system for contract labour and service contracts
