The Ethical Hacker will be responsible for conducting penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits across the organization’s systems, networks, and applications. The role requires a deep understanding of attack methodologies and the ability to think like a threat actor while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform penetration testing on networks, systems, and applications
- Identify, exploit, and document security vulnerabilities
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, risks, and remediation steps
- Work closely with IT and security teams to implement fixes and improvements
- Stay updated on emerging threats, tools, and hacking techniques
- Support incident response and forensic investigations when required
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
- Simulate #cyberattacks to evaluate system defenses
Requirements
- Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Proven experience in penetration testing or ethical hacking
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CompTIA Security+, or similar
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, and security frameworks
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark, etc.
- Understanding of web application security (OWASP Top 10)
