Responsibilities

• Support the Field Security Officer in managing security risks and implementing security plans
• Collect and communicate security-related information
• Assist in conducting security surveys and maintaining security equipment
• Manage the Field Office Warden system and ensure timely dissemination of safety and security information
• Report security incidents and assist in preparing security reports
• Organize and conduct security awareness training and briefings
• Maintain security files and databases
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• University degree in Security, Social Sciences, International Studies, Communications or a related field, with three years of relevant professional experience
• Completed High School degree, with five years of relevant professional experience
• Relevant professional experience in the humanitarian, public, private or corporate sector
• Experience in providing security coordination and administrative support for an international organization
• Experience in the use of radio communications
• Successful completion of the UNDSS Field Security Associate (FSA) course

Skills

• Ability to collaborate with senior government security counterparts and relevant stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds
• Excellent oral and written skills

Languages

Fluency in English (oral and written)
