Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Indigenous Nonprofit and Nongovernmental Organizat. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our organization's efforts in promoting indigenous rights and empowerment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our organization's indigenous rights and empowerment strategy
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build partnerships and secure funding for our programs
  • Provide technical assistance and capacity building to our partners and community members
  • Develop and manage budgets and reports for our programs
  • Represent our organization at national and international forums
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. social sciences, law, international relations)
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a nonprofit or nongovernmental organization
  • Strong knowledge of indigenous rights and empowerment issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Fluency in English and Hausa languages
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to our organization's mission and values
