Job Description
The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) seeks three qualified candidates to serve as Interns in its Development Strategies and Governance Unit. The Internship duration is for three months, renewable for another 3 months based on the intern's performance. The position is based in Abuja, Nigeria under the Nigeria Support Strategy Program (NSSP). The successful candidates will provide research support within an international research and development organization. The interns will conduct literature reviews on food security, nutrition, and agriculture; support survey design, data collection, and fieldwork; and clean and manage datasets. This role offers hands-on experience in research, policy analysis, and professional development. Candidates should have training in economics, agricultural economics, statistics, or related fields, with knowledge of quantitative or qualitative methods and statistical software such as R or Stata. **Interested applicants must have work authorization to work in Nigeria.**
