Lagos General Services Manager

<ul><li><div style="font-family: &quot;Segoe UI&quot;; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; line-height: 20px;"><p style="margin-left: 160px;"><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate the construction of new branches and the renovation, adaptation, or face-lifting of existing branches and facilities.</li><li>Manage the allocation of office spaces to staff, ensuring optimal utilization of available space.</li><li>Oversee general civil and building works, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and professional execution.</li><li>Ensure proper maintenance of all bank-owned or leased properties within the designated zone.</li><li>Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across all branches and facilities.</li><li>Safeguard staff, customers, and bank assets by maintaining a safe and secure physical environment.</li><li>Manage the upkeep and repair of engineering infrastructure (HVAC, generators, electrical systems, plumbing, etc.) to ensure continuous branch operations.</li><li>Ensure branch ambience and infrastructure align with the Bank’s customer service and brand standards.</li><li>Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders (departments, SBUs) and external parties (regulatory agencies, landlords, service providers).</li><li>Monitor and ensure compliance with government regulations, environmental standards, and urban development policies.</li><li>Oversee timely and accurate processing of facility-related tax obligations (e.g., land use charge, tenement rates) to prevent penalties.</li><li>Provide regular updates and reports to line management on property status, project progress, HSE compliance, and infrastructure conditions.</li></ul></div></li></ul><p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li>First degree in Architecture, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Estate Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.</li><li>&nbsp;Professional Certifications (an added advantage)</li><li>Minimum experience: 5years relevant experience is required.</li></ul>
