POSITION SUMMARY:

To support and strengthen the monitoring, evaluation, learning and data management systems as well as quality improvement processes for the Global Fund GC7-supported KP program and community support services. This includes ensuring accurate, timely, and quality data on program outputs, outcomes, and impact, with a focus on improving access to prevention, care and treatment among KPs, Viral Load optimization, triple zero (zero missed appointments, zero missed drugs and zero VL) among female adolescents, and impactful community volunteer program.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To support the development, review, and implementation of a detailed M&E plan and Performance Framework for the KP program in the five districts, ensuring alignment with the national Global Fund Performance Framework and NACP guidelines.
• To support the conduct of quarterly Data Quality Assessments (DQAs) and audits in the five districts for KP services and community support activities.
• To track progress on key indicators, including: KP service coverage and prevention package uptake, PrEP uptake, Viral Load testing coverage, results return, and suppression rates among KPs, Adolescent support group participation, adherence, retention, and outcomes across the triple zeroes as well as Volunteer (Mentor Mothers, Expert Clients, Peer Educators) performance, reach, and contribution to service delivery
• To monitor community-based VL tracking systems, including sample collection, transport, turnaround time, and follow-up of unsuppressed clients.
• Provide support to build capacity of KP CSOs’ staff and community volunteers (peer educators and navigators) through training and on-the-job mentoring.
• Support any other relevant tasks as requested by your supervisor.

ESSENTIAL:

• Education: First degree in Public Health, Medicine, Social Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum one year of experience in HIV programs. Specific expertise in Key Population program, community-based care, and Global Fund projects is an added advantage.
• Experience in the use of DHIS2, and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated experience in data quality improvement, capacity building, and reporting for donors.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Krio and other local languages is an advantage.
