MILLING ASSISTANT GOLDEN PENNY FOODS - NIGER MILLS, CALABAR

PURPOSE

To implement all designated tasks in addition to existing job requirement for the efficient running of the mill.

THE JOB

• Take measurement of wheat and wheat products level in the storage silos.
• Sample and analyze of flour streams.
• Coordinate taking of chemical draw rate.
• Maintain good housekeeping & hygiene of the mill.
• Comply with QMS and FSMS requirement.
• Compliance to all Health & Safety regulations.
• Carry out essential production (breakdown and preventive) maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Documentation of process reading and quality analysis report.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with milling machines, including setup, operation, and basic maintenance.
• Understanding of milling tools, including types, uses, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of material handling techniques, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
• Technical certification would be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years cognate experience.
