Pharmacist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to manage the dispensing of medications, counsel patients on proper drug use, and ensure the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
• Counsel patients on the proper use of medications, possible side effects, and interactions.
• Monitor inventory of medicines and ensure timely restocking.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and controlled substances.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Provide advice on over-the-counter medications, supplements, and health products.
• Participate in quality assurance and safety programs within the pharmacy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D).
• Valid practicing license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosages, and drug interactions.
• Excellent communication and patient counselling skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience working in a hospital, community pharmacy, or clinical setting.
• Knowledge of inventory management and pharmacy software.
