Quarry Sales Officer

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new customers, including construction companies, block industries, road contractors, real estate developers, and aggregate distributors.
- Promote and negotiate sales of quarry products, including 0–5mm Granite, 12mm Granite, 19mm Granite, 25mm Granite and Stone Dust Hardcore
- Manage customer orders and coordinate with the weighbridge, loading, and dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor customer accounts, manage credit sales, and ensure prompt collection of outstanding receivables.
- Conduct market research to monitor competitor pricing, demand trends, and upcoming construction projects.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to improve customer retention and satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the quarry operations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a higher national diploma (HND) in marketing, business administration, sales, economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within the quarry, mining, construction materials, cement, or manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of quarry products, aggregate specifications, and customer requirements.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and work effectively under pressure.
- Good interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Basic financial literacy with knowledge of invoicing, receivables, and credit management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications..
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts.
- Possession of a valid driver's licence will be an added advantage.
Remuneration: NGN 150,000 Monthly
