The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigerian Nationals for the positions below at the Institute’s headquarter in Ibadan.
Position: Senior Plant Operator
Duration: 6 months’ renewable
Location: Ibadan
Closing Date: 27 July 2026
DUTIES
- Operate the central air-conditioner chiller on a rotational night/day shift.
- Carry out maintenance, daily checks, and urgent repairs of the large condenser and chiller pumps.
- Servicing and repair of cooling towers.
- Monitoring system parameters such as: Temperature, Pressure, Flow rates and Energy consumption.
- Assist in the installation of air conditioners as needed and maintenance of cold refrigerators, water coolers, etc.
- Keep a record of data on the daily operation of central air conditioning chillers.
- Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
