Job Description

The Senior Program Officer supports the effective implementation of PROPEL in Liberia by leading and coordinating assigned project components aligned with the programme’s objectives and workplan. Reporting to the PROPEL Program Manager, the Senior Program Officer will play a central role in translating the program logic and theory of change into high-quality, well-coordinated activities on the ground. The role includes technical oversight of youth-focused interventions, close collaboration with partners and stakeholders and strong engagement with Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) processes. The Snr. Program Officer ensures that implementation is timely, gender responsive, market-aligned, and consistent with approved plans, budgets, and donor expectations. The position is based in Monrovia, Liberia, and it requires up to 40% travel to support country programs, which may include travel to insecure locations where freedom of movement is limited and areas where amenities are limited. Housing for this role is in individual housing, and staff will have access to good medical services, and the living situation is of a high standard.
