Social Media Manager

Nollywood Reinvented (NR) is looking for a dedicated and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to engage our audience, promote our content, and foster a vibrant online community. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of celebrating African cinema and sparking meaningful conversations.

**Responsibilities**

• - Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with NR’s goals and audience preferences.
• - Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more.
• - Collaborate with the editorial team to identify and promote relevant content, including movie reviews, articles, news updates, and discussions.
• - Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media channels in a timely and engaging manner.
• - Build and nurture a strong online community by fostering interactions, discussions, and participation among followers.
• - Utilize social media analytics tools to track and report on key metrics, insights, and trends. Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
• - Stay up-to-date with current social media trends, platform updates, and emerging practices to maintain NR’s digital presence.
• - Collaborate with graphic designers, content writers, and other team members to ensure cohesive and visually appealing social media content.
• - Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to increase engagement and followership.
• - Contribute creative ideas for engaging social media content, including memes, graphics, videos, and polls.

**Qualifications:**

• - Proven experience in social media management or a related role or willingness to learn
• - Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices.
• - Creativity and the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
• - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• - Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• - Passion for African cinema, particularly Nollywood.
• - Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with design software are advantageous.
