Social Media Manager

Job Title

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with NR’s goals and audience preferences. Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media channels in a timely and engaging manner. Build and nurture a strong online community by fostering interactions, discussions, and participation among followers. Utilize social media analytics tools to track and report on key metrics, insights, and trends. Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights. Stay up-to-date with current social media trends, platform updates, and emerging practices to maintain NR’s digital presence. Collaborate with graphic designers, content writers, and other team members to ensure cohesive and visually appealing social media content. Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to increase engagement and followership. Contribute creative ideas for engaging social media content, including memes, graphics, videos, and polls. Proven experience in social media management or a related role or willingness to learn. Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices. Creativity and the ability to generate engaging content ideas. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Passion for African cinema, particularly Nollywood. Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with design software are advantageous.
