At The Slate Center, we believe in raising bold, brilliant, and balanced children. Our summer camp is not just another holiday program, it’s a playground of imagination, a launchpad for creativity, and a real-life adventure where kids discover the joy of learning through hands-on experiences. We’re looking for vibrant, passionate, and creative young people to join us as summer camp volunteers. If you love kids, believe in the power of play, and are ready to spend your summer doing something meaningful, this is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the daily running of fun, interactive camp activities (think: art, dance, STEM, storytelling, games, and more!)
• Providing support and encouragement to campers aged
• Helping manage group dynamics and ensuring every child feels seen, heard, and safe
• Supporting field trips, themed events, and competitions like Spelling Bees, Debates, and the Amazing Race!
• Bringing your own personality, energy, and creativity into every activity
• Working collaboratively with the camp coordinators and facilitators

Requirements:

• University students, recent graduates, or NYSC members who love working with children
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable team players
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative minds who can think on their feet and go with the flow
• Experience working with kids (as a tutor, Sunday school teacher, sibling supervisor, etc.) is a plus—but passion matters most!

Remuneration: NGN 80,000 Monthly
